Latouria/Formosum Dendrobiums

Latouria Dendrobiums, also known as Formosum Dendrobiums, belong to a section of the Dendrobium genus and are prized for their stunning, fragrant blooms. These orchids typically have canelike pseudobulbs and pendulous growth habit. Their flowers come in a variety of colors, often with intricate patterns and a waxy texture, adding to their allure.

To care for Latouria Dendrobiums, provide them with bright, filtered light to encourage healthy flowering. Maintain temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C) during the day and slightly cooler at night. Water moderately, allowing the potting mix to dry out partially between waterings. Fertilize with a balanced orchid fertilizer every 3-4 weeks during the growing season.
