Cattleya orchids, known for their exquisite and vibrant flowers, require specific care to flourish. Provide these orchids with bright, indirect light, and protect them from harsh direct sunlight. Maintain temperatures between 60-80°F (15-27°C) during the day and slightly cooler at night. Water Cattleyas thoroughly when the potting mix is almost dry, allowing for proper drainage to prevent waterlogged roots. Fertilize with a balanced orchid fertilizer every two weeks during the growing season, but reduce frequency during the dormant period.
